who grew it.
Some of what we carry comes off our own farm at Laddaland, an hour south at San Pa Tong. The rest comes from small growers around Chiang Mai, people we buy from directly and have known for years. Not brokers, not whoever had a pallet going that week.
Either way it gets tasted here before it goes on the shelf, and either way we can tell you who grew it and roughly when it came down. That is the whole difference between us and a shop that cannot answer the question.

Where is The Spot Cannabis Dispensary in Chiang Mai?
The Spot is at 36 Nimmana Haeminda Road, Lane 11, Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. It sits in the middle of the Nimman neighbourhood, a few minutes from Maya mall.
What time does The Spot open?
The Spot is open 10:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday and 13:00 to 23:00 on Saturday and Sunday, including public holidays.
Do I need a prescription to buy cannabis in Chiang Mai?
Yes. Since 26 June 2025, cannabis flower has been a controlled herb under Thai law and a PT 33 prescription from a licensed practitioner is required to buy or hold it. The Spot works with a practitioner and can walk you through the process.
Can tourists get a cannabis prescription in Thailand?
Yes. Visitors go through the same PT 33 process as Thai nationals and use a passport in place of a Thai ID card. The consultation is short and happens in Chiang Mai.
