Getting here
From Nimmanahaeminda Road, turn into Soi 11. We are a short way down on the right. Look for the leaf mark on the front of the building. If you have walked past a rooftop with plants on it, you have gone slightly too far and should look up, because that is our roof.
Coming from Maya mall it is about five minutes on foot. From the Old City, a red songthaew or a Grab will take ten to fifteen minutes depending on traffic around the moat.
Parking
Scooters park outside, no problem. Cars are harder, Soi 11 is narrow. Most people leave a car at Maya or One Nimman and walk across.
What happens when you walk in
Someone will say hello and then leave you alone for a minute, because being pounced on in a shop is nobody's idea of a good time. When you have a question, ask. We would rather talk for ten minutes and get it right than sell you something that does not suit you.

You cannot consume on the premises. Thai law is clear on that one, and we like our licence.
The lounge
The second floor is a lounge for people who have come to the shop or to Sway upstairs. Sofas, a console, films, music, and tables if you want to sit and work for a couple of hours. It is not a bar and there is nothing to buy up there. Ask at the counter and go up.

Common questions
Is there somewhere to sit and hang out at The Spot?
Yes. The second floor is a lounge for people who have come to the shop or to the Sway rooftop coffee shop. Sofas, a games console, films, music and tables to work at, with power and fibre wifi. There is nothing to buy up there and consumption is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
How do I find The Spot in Nimman?
The Spot is at 36 Nimmana Haeminda Road, Lane 11, in the Suthep sub-district of Mueang Chiang Mai. Coming from Nimmanahaeminda Road, turn into Soi 11 and it is a short way down on the right, a five-floor building with the leaf mark on the front.
Is there parking at The Spot Chiang Mai?
There is scooter parking directly outside. Car parking on Soi 11 is limited, so most people park at Maya mall or One Nimman and walk the few minutes across.
Do I need an appointment to visit The Spot?
No. The Spot is walk-in, open 11:00 to 22:00 every day. Messaging ahead on LINE is only useful if you want to ask about the prescription process before you arrive.
Can I consume cannabis at the shop?
No. Thai law prohibits consumption on dispensary premises unless it is administered by a licensed practitioner. Public consumption is also a nuisance offence, so plan to consume somewhere private.
What should I bring when visiting a dispensary in Chiang Mai?
Bring a passport or Thai ID. If you already hold a PT 33 prescription, bring that too. You must be 20 or over.
